BEHIND THE LENS

I have been involved in the photographic industry for over forty years. Beginning with 35mm film but quickly moving up to 6x6 medium format. With only 12 or 24 images on a roll, no zoom or motor drive and certainly no Photoshop one learns to pre-visualize the lighting and pose before clicking the shutter. Even in today's digital world, I still continue to work in that mode of getting it right in the camera.
